Hedera expands its reach after addition to BRD wallet

BRD recently updated its wallet compatibility, allowing the storage of Hedera Hashgraph’s HBAR currency.

„In addition to integration into the BRD consumer wallet, Hedera’s network data will be compatible with BRD’s recently launched enterprise-level blockchain data integration platform, Blockset, which powers the BRD consumer wallet,“ said a June 25 release provided to Cointelegraph.

Blockset helps business efforts
Aimed at the business sector, Hedera presents itself as a test public book ecosystem, or PoS, depending on its website. The technology uses what is known as Hashgraph network consensus. The incorporation of the project to Blockset, is based on Hedera’s entrepreneurial inclination.

Essentially, entities looking for an enterprise blockchain can leverage Blockset tools to build their solutions, simplifying the process and then starting from scratch, the statement said. The incorporation of Hedera/Blockset implies data visibility, as well as the publication of transactions on the network.

A collaboration that promotes the movement towards distributed enterprise accounting
„Hedera’s hashgraph technology is designed to support high-performance consumer and business use,“ Hedera CEO and co-founder Mance Harmon said in the release. „By including HBAR in BRD’s consumer wallet, we are exposing our technology to millions of users worldwide,“ Harmon said.

The CEO added:

„With Blockset, the BRD team is also making significant progress as a major driver of business adoption. We are very excited to leverage Blockset’s elite toolkit as a means of gaining exposure within the business ecosystem.
The collaboration also works in BRD’s favor, giving the company additional connections in the business arena, BRD CEO Adam Traidman said in the release.
